I discovered Cire Trudon after exhausting Diptyque and Jo Malone and wanting something with deeper heritage. The Ernesto is exactly as described — the tobacco and rum fragrance is warm and distinctive rather than overpowering. The vessel is genuinely beautiful; I’ve kept three empty jars and use them as pen holders and a coin dish. At the price point, the vessel being a keeper makes the total value calculation more compelling.
